I have been making things all my life. I began making dolls over forty years ago and was mostly self-taught until discovering doll classes on the internet and at the John C. Campbell Folk School.
My dolls have been exhibited across the country and have won a number of awards, and I have been published in Art Doll Quarterly and Soft Dolls and Animals. I teach classes locally and at the John C Campbell Folk School and maintain a studio in Belmont, NY. I have been a member of the Allegany Artisan Studio Tour for 20 years and serve on the Board there. I am al-so a Board member of the Allegany Arts Association.
I began working in paper about 10 years ago, making books, collages and altered books. Recycling has become important in my paper work. I also teach classes in altered books and simple bookmaking.
